After missing the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague playoffs, Olimpia Milano has redirected its full attention to the domestic championship, aiming to defend the title it won last year.

In Round 28 of Legabasket, the defending champions took down Scafati with a convincing 99-77 final score, improving to 20-8 with their fifth straight win and tying with Brescia at the top of the standings.

Shavon Shields led the charge with 20 points and six assists, followed by Shabazz Napier with 18 points.

Recent acquisition Denzel Valentine scored his first points in Italy, finishing the match with 13, while Guglielmo Caruso also reached double digits with 10 points.

On the losing side, Sek Henry scored 20 points, Kruize Pinkins added 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds, and Gerald Robinson tallied 12 points while distributing seven assists. Riccardo Rossato chipped in with 11 points.
