A comfortable win, 98-66, for Virtus Segafredo Bologna against Bertram Derrthona Tortona in PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris.

Recent signing, Justin Holiday scored 14 points in his first appearance in the 2024-25 edition of Italy’s LBA UnipolSai Regular Season. Limited to three points off 1/6 field goals in this week’s double-game week of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, the 35-year-old winger, an NBA champion in 2015, went for 3/6 to lead his side in scoring on Sunday.

Experienced point guard Daniel Hackett followed with 13 points and Andrejs Grazulis added 12 points with 4/4 from the field. Besides Will Clyburn (foot) and Ante Zizic (elbow) stuck to the injury list, Matt Morgan missed the Round 19 contest due to a cold.

Trailing the leaders by one game, the team guided by Dusko Ivanovic jumped to 14-5. Germani Brescia also drew a 14-5 tally by taking down Trieste, 93-90, in PalaLeonessa A2A.
