Capo D’Orlando managed to beat EA7 Armani Milano, giving hope to Reggio Emilia in order to chase the top spot of the standings in Legabasket.

Thanks to Ryan Boatright (20 p.) and with veteran Lithuanian Simas Jasaitis contributing 13 points, Capo D’Orlando (11-15) prevailed with 78-71 despite trailing by 10 points (68-58) during the last period, finishing the game with a 20-3 run. The hosts finished the game with a 44-31 advantage in rebounds, Milano scored only 9 points in the fourth quarter and Alessandro Gentile played just 10 minutes before getting injured again, for the fourth time this season.

Milano (20-6), Reggiana (19-7), Cremona (18-8), Avellino (17-9) are already in the playoffs, while Sassari (13-13), Venezia (13-13), Pistoia (13-13) and Trento (13-13) are tied between the 5th and the 8th spot of the standings.
