As if Game 3 was simply a… break, Trento resumed its dominance over Olimpia Milano in the Italian League semifinals with a new blowout win that brings them one step from the title series.

The emphatic victory of Olimpia Milano in Game 3 was considered by many a reaction that would possibly spark a comeback for the defending champions in the series.

But judging from the 88 – 64 victory with which Trento made the 3-1, that game may have been just the exception to the rule of the semifinals. At least so far.

Joao Gomes’ double/double (21 points/10 rebounds) along with Shavon Shields (16 points), Diego Flaccadori (13 points) and Dustin Hogue (12 points, 8 rebounds) did most of the damage to the “Red Shoes” that are now on the brink of getting eliminated from the Finals.

Only Mantas Kalnietis (14 points) and Ricky Hickman (11 points) scored in double figures for Milano.
