AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milano ‘turned it up a notch’ in the last few minutes and won 90-78 against Fiat Torino on Day 25 of Legabasket. There were many shifts of lead throughout the game as neither team could keep their focus and finish the match securely. With three minutes left Armani was by a one-point margin (79-78). That was when the home team decided to end it all. They made a deal-breaking 11-0 run to finish this game in their favor.
Andrew Goudelock scored a game-high 23 points while Andrea Cinciarini added 14. On the other side, Maurice Garrett Diante’s tried to push his team with 20 points but it wasn’t enough.
With this win, Olimpia Milano stayed on top of the league with a 20-5 record, while Torino took a step back from the playoffs and stayed at 12 wins (13 loses).
