AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milano completed the series against Cantu without a loss (3-0) as they recorded a 74-65 road win in Game 3 of Italian League quarterfinals, therefore, advancing to the semifinals.

Milano had a great shooting night, especially from behind the arc with 15 triples made out of 30 attempts which were also the main reason for the crucial advantage created during the second quarter which they won 28-13. The home team tried to come back but couldn’t get close enough to change things.

Andrew Goudelock was the leading scorer with game-high 24 points (6/9 three-pointers) while Dairis Bertans added 11 points in addition to Arturas Gudaitis’s ten points. On the other side, Randy Culpepper held his team in the game with 18 points with some help from Christian Burns and Charles Thomas who scored 12 points each.

A bit later, another sweep got completed as Brescia just barely won against Varese 69-64 on the road after overtime. The victors were led by Lee Moore with 17 points in addition to Bryce Cotton’s 15 points. For the hosts, Aleksa Avramovic had an amazing game with 24 points but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
