Michael Bramos led Venezia’s winning charge against Cantu in the Italian League.

Umana Reyer Venezia had full control of the match against Acqua S.Bernardo Cantu and recorded a convincing 93-71 road win on Day 11 of Italian League.

Michael Bramos led the victors with 21 points and six assists in addition to Mitchell Watt’s 17 points. For Cantu, Frank Gaines nailed game-high 25 points while Gerry Blakes added 13.

Venezia was ahead 29-20 after ten minutes and kept the distance until halftime (47-36). They kept going after the break leading by as much as 25 points (88-63) and closing the game in their favor without any trouble.

Earlier the same day, Mike James caught fire and kept Olimpia Milano perfect by beating Varese.

Venezia improved to 9-2 and is chasing Milano which holds the top with a perfect 11-0 record. Cantu stayed at the bottom with 3-8 along with Pistoia and Reggio Emilia.
