Olimpia Milano broke Dolomiti Energia Trento’s resistance in the third quarter and recorded an 86-78 home win on Day 14 of Italian League.
Arturas Gudaitis led the way with 19 points and eight rebounds while Amedeo Della Valle followed with 18 points. Mindaugas Kuzminskas added 13 points. For Trento, Devyn Marble scored 14 and Fabio Mian 13 points.
It was a tie after ten minutes (18-18) and Trento held the minimal 40-39 lead at halftime. However, after the break, the hosts stepped it up a notch and went ahead 64-51 in front of the final period which was enough to secure the game in the end.
Milano improved to 13-1 while Trento stands at a 6-8 record.
