John Brown and Jeremy Chappell combined for 54 points and led Brindisi to a 77-61 road win over Bologna on Day 26 of Italian League.
Brown nailed 29 points along with ten rebounds while Chappell notched a double-double as well with 25 points (4-6 triples) and ten boards. Riccardo Moraschini added 13 points.
For Bologna, which struggled offensively, Amath M’Baye was the only double-digit scorer with ten points.
Brindisi improved to 16-10 staying safe in the playoff zone while Bologna now holds a 12-14 record and is in a tight spot being two wins behind the eighth spot with four rounds remaining.
AX Armani Milan is on top of the league standings with a 20-6 record, followed Venezia at 18-8 and Cremona at 17-9.
