Avellino registered an 82-74 victory over Olimpia Milano in Game 1 of their playoffs series in the Italian League.
Keifer Sykes and Ike Udanoh paced the visitors with 21 and 18 points each, as Avellino broke though Milano‘s homecourt.
The hosts played without Mike James who recently suffered from an injury. A bit after the game, James was honored at the EuroLeague 2018-19 Awards Ceremony as the Alphonso Ford Top Scorer of the season trophy.
In the second game of GameDay 1 in the Italian league playoffs, Sassari took down Brindisi 89-73, paced by Dyshawn Pierre who posted 21 points.
