Jack Cooley posted a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds to lead Dinamo Sassari to an 87 – 77 victory over Reyer Venezia in Game 6 of the Italian League Finals.
Sassari’s win tied the series 3-3 and now the title will be decided in Game 7 at Venezia Saturday (22/6).
Venezia led 40 – 34 at halftime but Sassari turned up the offensive after the return from the lockers. The FIBA Europe Cup champs dominated 29 – 17 in the third period and remained in control for the remainder of the match.
Rashawn Thomas contributed 18 points and seven rebounds to Sassari’s win. Mitchell Watt had 16 points plus seven rebounds and Mike Bramos 15 points and six rebounds.
