AX Armani Exchange Milan improved its LBA Serie A W-L record to 2-1 with a 88-73 home win versus Trieste on Sunday.

Michael Roll picked up the pace in the second half after the visitors cut into his side’s lead. The 32-year-old swingman posted 22 points including four shots beyond the arc.

Another newcomer for Ettore Messina’s team, Luis Scola, debuted in the Italian league with 13 points, 7 assists and 7 rebounds. Sergio Rodriguez added 15 points and 7 dimes.

Aaron White was out due to family reasons. Xavi Rey made his way to the 12-man squad in his absence, but did not get on the court.

Trieste fell to 0-3.

First win for Roma
