Two days ago, the ABA League released an official announcement, stating that no decision has been made on whether accepting an agreement with Euroleague or signing the shareholder’s agreement that FIBA had proposed.

Now, according to the Serbian newspaper “Zurnal”, the Olympic Qualifying Tournament that will normally be held in Serbia, is in danger of being cancelled by FIBA, after ABA League’s decision to not sign the agreement with the International Federation.

Time is of the essence when it comes to the Pre-Olympic tournaments. If the games will not take place in Belgrade, it remains to be seen which country will host the tournament.
