Not only Thanasis Antetokounmpo will be part of the Greek national team pre-selection, but he is also expected to be part at least of the team’s training camp, according to Eurohoops sources.
The Antetokounmpo brothers can play together for the fist time in the Greek national team in the upcoming pre-Olympic tournament in Turin, Italy. Greece is expected to turn the page, making Giannis for the first time its anchor.
After all, Vasilis Spanoulis retired from the team and it’s still unclear what veterans Giannis Bourousis and Nikos Zisis will do, which have been teammates of Spanoulis in the junior Greek national teams since their teenage years. Everyone awaits their announcement on the matter and until then nothing can be considered concrete.
