The recent developments and possible sanctions that FIBA wants to impose to the national teams, were discussed by Pau Gasol.
“I cannot imagine the Olympic Games or the Eurobasket without the national team. Extreme measures should not be taken. Basketball loses.” said the international Spaniard to Marca.
Regarding his future and the rumors that have surfaced lately, the Gasol acknowledged that “the San Antonio Spurs would be an interesting option for me. Still, it is too early to asses what I’ll do. It will be a decision which I will consider a lot before I take.
