Spain’s final roster for Rio’s Olympics next month has been finally announced by Sergio Scariolo and includes the following players:
Pau Gasol, Rudy Fernández, Sergio Rodríguez, Juan Carlos Navarro, José Manuel Calderón, Felipe Reyes, Víctor Claver, Willy Hernangómez, Álex Abrines, Sergio Llull, Nikola Mirotic, Ricky Rubio.
Fernando San Emeterio didn’t make it to the final cut and coach Scariolo has made a statement on the matter: “It has been one of the most painful decisions I’ve had to make in my years with the national team“.
