The Eurobasket U18 in Slovakia started with an impressive performance by Greek guard Dimitris Moraitis and an upset by Finland.

Moraitis led the charge for Greece in the win over Slovenia with 24 points. 8 assists, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. However, the upset of the day was registered by Finland which dominated FIBA U16 European Championship 2015 and FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2016 bronze medalists Lithuania in an 82-62 victory.

Meanwhile, Bosnia and Herzegovina guard Sani Campara guided his team to a 66-65 win over defending champions France with a tournament-high 32 points. Here’s the result of the first day.
