In the U-16 game between Greece and Turkey, Anastasis Kostopoulos of the Greek team was injured after he hit his heel on an opponent, who had dunked the ball. Everyone in the arena ‘froze’ as Kostopoulos hit the floor hard and was forced to leave the court with a stretcher and a collar around his neck.

However, the injury is no cause for further concern, as the Greek federation informed through Twitter, that the player underwent exams, and is no longer dizzy but will stay for cautionary reasons at the hospital.
