Kostas Papanikolaou was furious after a call against his teammate, Kostantinos Mitoglou, and he didn’t hide his feelings towards the referees of the preparation game between France and Greece.

After his reaction, Papanikolaou was naturally ejected, however almost the moment he left the court, the alarm of the “Salle Pierre De Coubertin” was set off. The game was interrupted because of a recorded message which was asking from the fans to evacuate the building.

However, soon the hosts informed the fans that it was a false alarm. According to them, Papanikolaou accidentally hit the alarm button on his way out of the court. According to the Greek national team, this was not the case, since the alarm sounded when Papanikolaou was still on the court. Here’s the bizarre incident.
