Giannis Antetokounmpo announced through his social media that he will be donating $100,000 to the Fiserv Forum staff, after the recent shut-down of NBA activities in order to support the Bucks community in these trying times of the coronavirus pandemic.
His generosity was endorsed also by Bucks‘ Senior Vice President Alex Lasry, who stated that the Bucks’ organization will match Giannis’ contribution.
Kevin Love also proceeded to donate the same amount to Cavs‘ arena workers in light of the coronavirus outbreak, while Mark Cuban addressed reporters stating that he’s looking for ways to help hourly employees who won’t be able to make money during the NBA suspension.
