The 2019-20 NBA season was suspended, in response to the coronavirus pandemic. A few days in the process of stopping games and with players forced away from their natural habitats, the courts, Giannis Antetokounmpo commented on his life without basketball via a post on Twitter.
“If this is how my life is going to be after basketball, I am not retiring for a long time.” noted the Milwaukee Bucks leader including a hashtag 25-year career in the post. “You will literally drive me crazy, so the longer the better.” was the social media response by his girlfriend Mariah.
Assuming he will extend his career to 25 years, apart from setting brand new records, the fans will be enjoying the Greek Freak dominating his opponents for a couple more decades.
More NBA stars are taking on alternative schedules very similar to their off-season activities, at least those not involving team practices.
