Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic began a donation program to provide for the healthcare system of Slovenia amid the coronavirus crisis.

The donations were organized via the “Make Our Dream Come True” project that Doncic has launched together with his friends Jaka Bijol (a Slovenian soccer player) and Robert Kristan (a Slovenian former ice hockey player). Doncic announced on his Twitter that after several days of money-raising, they have bought FFP3 masks (considered the top protective and most-filtering masks) to donate them to Slovenia’s healthcare system.

Doncic had also joined forced with Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and forward Dwight Powell in a donation of $500,000 to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital
