Turkish forward Tibet Gorener has committed to play college basketball with the Arizona Wildcats, the player announced.

Born on July 27, 2002, Gorener (2,0.6 m.) has been a longtime player of the Turkish national team’s youth squads. He averaged 8.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists in the FIBA U18 European Championship to help Turkey win the silver medal.

Gorener becomes the third European player to commit to Arizona after Estonian guard Kerr Kriisa and French forward Daniel Batcho.

“I committed to Arizona. It’s a great opportunity for me. I have a great relationship with the coaches and I fit their style. Their goals and my goals align. I’m really excited,” Gorener said to 247 Sports.

In the meantime, Barcelona guard Brancou Badio has declared for the 2020 NBA Draft, per Eurohopes. The 20-year-old Senegalese player averaged 13.4 points with Barcelona B’ this season.
