Dallas Mavericks‘ Luka Doncic has flown back to his home country, Slovenia, as reported by Ramona Shelburne of ESPN. According to Slovenia sources, Doncic has arrived in his native country since mid-April.
According to the ESPN report, he flew home on a private jet to Slovenia after the NBA lockdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic and if the season finally resumes, he will have to fly back to the United States and then quarantine according to the report.
The United States currently has strict traveling restrictions and this could be an issue for teams in the long run if the season resumes, as players need to travel back to the States and will all have to self-isolate prior to returning to their duties.
