Nikola Jokic made the most out of the lockdown period and the NBA hiatus by building a body that is… “beach ready.” At least according to Denver Nuggets president of basketball operations Tim Connelly.
When asked about Nuggets coach Mike Malone’s comments regarding Jokic looking like a “lean, mean fighting Serbian machine right now,” during an Altitude Radio show, Connelly said that this is pretty much the case indeed and then added: “He showed up in great shape. He’s sitting there. He sent me a picture. No shirt on. He’s got abs. I’ve never seen him have abs before.”
“He’s beach ready. He has abs,” Connelly said.
A couple of days ago a photo emerged showing Jokic looking thinner, than well, ever. The “Joker” wears a t-shirt so the presence of visible abs can neither be confirmed nor denied but the weight difference is kinda obvious.
