Nikola Jokic went viral last week appearing extremely fit in a public appearance in Belgrade. However, attending the Mega Bemax exhibition match may have resulted to him coming in contact with Partizan NIS player Nikola Jankovic who four days later tested positive for coronavirus.

NBA players traveling abroad during the hiatus, in response to the pandemic, are expected back this week. Players including the Denver Nuggets star and staff from June 23 will be tested every other day prior to traveling to Orlando for the single-site tournament planned to conclude the 2019-20 season.

The Nuggets rank third in the Western Conference carrying a 43-22 record into the eight additional regular season matches set to complete the playoffs picture. Jokic averaged 20.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 6.9 assists per game before the decision to pause the 2019-20 season.
