Washington Wizards‘ Davis Bertans has decided to sit out the Orlando restart, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. He is still expected to participate in pre-Orlando training with the squad.
The 27 years old forward who had two ACL injuries in the past is sitting out as a preventive measure and the Wizards fully support his decision. Washington is treating Bertans as a top offseason priority in free agency.
The Latvian sharpshooter logged his best NBA season so far, averaging 16 points per game on 42% shooting from the three-point territory.
