Sacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes announced that he tested positive for coronavirus before the team’s trip to Orlando, Florida for the NBA restart on July 30. Barnes said he’s currently asymptomatic.

“I’ve been primarily asymptomatic and am doing well. I’m quarantined and am abiding by the safety protocol until cleared for action. I hope to join my team in Orlando when it’s safe to do so,” Barnes said in a statement he posted on his social media.

Barnes is the latest NBA player to announce that he tested positive for COVID-19 after Houston Rockets star Russell Westbrook and Washington Wizards‘ Thomas Bryant and Gary Payton II. The latter two aren’t planning to join their team in Orlando for the resumption of the season.
