Nikola Jokic has joined the Denver Nuggets in Orlando, Florida for the resumption of the NBA season, the club announced on Twitter. He’s been cleared from quarantine per Yahoo’s Chris Haynes, and is now waiting for results of physical tests to see when he will be able to begin practicing after months of hiatus.
Jokic required two negative tests for coronavirus in the USA before being allowed to join his teammates in the bubble.
A month ago, Jokic tested positive for coronavirus while in Serbia. Following his recovery and after producing two negative tests in his country he was expected to join the Nuggets before the team’s trip to Orlando, however, travel issues delayed his arrival to the States.
Before the NBA shut down on March 11, Jokic averaged 20.2 points, 10.2 rebounds and 6.9 assists.
