The NBA sent a memo to teams on Monday informing on changes to the protocol for players returning inconclusive results after being tested for coronavirus in the Orlando bubble, per ESPN.

Such players if asymptomatic still have to produce a pair of negative tests but the second can be returned within 60 minutes of the next game. The players returning inconclusive results will still be quarantined.

Since the health guidelines were implemented, teams expressed concerns about potential inconclusive tests preventing players from being cleared for basketball action. The above adjustments facilitate the process for these cases.
