Jakob Poeltl posted a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds to help the San Antonio Spurs defeat the absence-plagued Utah Jazz 119 – 11 Friday.
It was a crucial win for the Spurs in their purse for a playoff spot. Poeltl shot 9-12 2-pointers to push his team towards victory while adding three blocks and two assists.
Marco Belinelli contributed eight points on 2-4 triples for the Spurs. Derrick White led San Antonio with 24 points.
For the Jazz that were minus Rudy Gobert for resting reasons and Donovan Mitchell plus Mike Conley due to injuries, Jordan Clarkson dropped 24 points. Tom Bradley finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
