Indiana Pacers coach Nate McMillan has agreed to a contract extension, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. McMillan already had one year left on his deal but finalized the extension in recent days.

The Pacers are currently the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference after winning four out of six games so far in the bubble. They have to play against Houston and Miami in the remaining two matchups.

It will be the fourth straight trip to the playoffs for McMillan with Indiana with this last one being perhaps the hardest due to various injuries that struck the roster.

In 16 seasons with the Seattle SuperSonics, Portland Trail Blazers and Indiana Pacers, McMillan has been 665-590 (.530) and 20-32 in nine trips to the playoffs. He’s one of 26 coaches to win 600 NBA games.
