Dallas Mavericks forward Kristaps Porzingis’ participation in Game 5 of the series vs. the Los Angeles Clippers Tuesday (25/8) will be decided right before the match.
“This may be a gametime decision similar to what Luka’s was yesterday,” Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said per ESPN’s Tim MacMahon. Porzingis’ MRI results on his right knee came back negative.
Shortly before the tipoff of Game 4, Porzingis was ruled out due to soreness on his right knee. The Mavericks went on to beat the Clippers in overtime thanks to a mighty 40-point triple-double performance by Luka Doncic who also scored the game-winner at the buzzer.
Porzingis had scored 34 points in the Mavericks’ Game 3 loss Friday.
