Apparently, Malone doesn’t take Beverley seriously.

Denver Nuggets coach Mike Malone brushed off Patrick Beverley saying that Nikola Jokic is “flailing” to try to win fouls.

“I don’t listen to Patrick Beverley a whole lot. If Kawhi Leonard was talking maybe I might’ve listened to it because Kawhi is a great player,” Malone said.

Beverley made the comment after the Los Angeles Clippers‘ Game 3 win over the Nuggets. “He presents the same thing Luka Doncic presents: a lot of flailing,” the Clippers guard told media following the match.

“What’s a flailing,” was Jokic’s reaction. “They had 26 free throws. We had 10. I’m just showing the ref it’s a foul.”

Malone also addressed the difference in the number of free throws and added that “I’m not really sure what game Patrick is talking about.”
