Victor Wembanyama, a potential no. 1 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, made a rather entrance in the season.
Wembanyama, 16, scored 22 points, grabbed 10 rebounds (five offensive, five defensive) and delivered seven blocks for 32 PIR to lead Pole France to a road win over Havre in NM1 (France’s Third Division).
In the 31:57 minutes he stayed on the floor, Wembanyama shot 10-17 2-pointers, 1-5 triples and had 2-2 free throws.
