Vasilije Micic’s NBA rights are acquired by the Oklahoma City Thunder according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The Philadelphia 76ers are sending the rights of the Serbian EuroLeague star guard to the Thunder along with Al Horford, a 2025 first-round and the 34th overall pick in the upcoming draft for Danny Green and Terrance Ferguson.
Micic’s rights were owned by the Sixers since they selected him with the 52nd overall pick in the 2014 Draft. Since then, the now 26-year-old playmaker has evolved to one of the most elite guards outside the NBA during his stint with Anadolu Efes.
In the 2020-21 so far, Micic has been averaging 14.8 points, 5.6 assists, 1.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals for Efes. Almost a week ago, he scored a career-high 33 points to carry his team to a road win over Panathinaikos in Athens.
