After three seasons in EuroLeague with Khimki Moscow, Anthony Gill will be signing his first NBA contract. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Gill has agreed to a two-year deal with the Washington Wizards.
Gill, 28, was considered one of the best forwards in Europe during his stint with Khimki. Over his three years with the Russian team, he averaged 10.,5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
He had his best run in 2017-2018, his debut season in EuroLeague when he posted 11.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists. Khimki lost to CSKA Moscow 3-1 in the playoffs.
