The Golden State Warriors are signing point guard Brad Wanamaker to a one-year, $2.25 million deal, according to reports by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The Warriors announced his addition Tuesday.

The former All-EuroLeague guard became a free agent earlier in the week as the Boston Celtics have declined him a qualifying offer and now he’s on to his next destination for his third NBA season.

Wanamaker spent the last two years with the Boston Celtics, developing in Brad Stevens’ system. Last year he played an average of 19.3 minutes per game, and posted 6.9 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.

Despite his short NBA presence, Wanamaker has plenty of experience overseas, while he’s been part of our NBA free agents that may sign in Europe this offseason list.
