Restricted free agent Juancho Hernangomez is finalizing a three-year, $21M deal to re-sign with the Minnesota Timberwolves according to Shams Charania.

After almost four years in Denver, the Spanish forward finished last year with the Timberwolves averaging in 14 games his best numbers yet with 12.9 ppg and 7.3 rpg, while shooting 42% in threes.

This kind of performance made him a priority for Minnesota and he is expected to have a key role in the team’s rotation in the upcoming future.

His older by one year brother, Willy, also secured a deal with the New Orleans Pelicans for next season.
