Deividas Sirvydis signed a three-year contract with the Detroit Pistons, per ESPN. The final year of his contract is not guaranteed, added James Edwards III of The Athletic. The deal was made official by the Pistons alongside the additions of Mason Plumlee, Jahlil Okafor, and Josh Jackson.

Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem previously confirmed the youngster’s departure from the Israeli club noting that he will be joining the Pistons. The Detroit organization acquired his NBA rights via trade immediately after the Dallas Mavericks selected him 37th in the 2019 draft. The Lithuanian guard/forward subsequently suited up for the 2019 Summer League.

Sirvydis, 20, joined Hapoel Jerusalem last May. He took part in the Basketball Champions League Final Eight to complete the 2019-20 season and went on for two more 2020-21 BCL appearances prior to committing to the Pistons. His first pro team, Rytas Vilnius, featured him in 35 contests of 7DAYS EuroCup between three seasons earlier in his career.
