Pops Mensah-Bonsu will be joining the New York Knicks as president and director of G League operations with the Westchester Knicks as it was reported by The Athletic’s Mike Vorkunov and Shams Charania.
The former player took General Manager duties with Washington Wizards‘ G-League team last season and has served as a scout for San Antonio Spurs.
Mensah-Bonsu ended his professional career with AEK Athens in 2015 after 10 years, during which he had played for the Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors, Houston Rockets and New Orleans Pelicans, while also appearing in CSKA Moscow, ASVEL, Olimpia Milano and Galatasaray during his time in Europe.
