Two games without a win far from a perfect start for the Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic

The Denver Nuggets fell to 0-2 dropping the Christmas day game versus the Los Angeles Clippers. Nikola Jokic was one rebound shy of posting a second triple-double in a row but was not enough once again.

“We need to stick together and figure it out,” he mentioned following the game and the uncompleted comeback bid in the fourth quarter, “We need to reduce those bad minutes. I think it is hard to have a perfect game.”

The Joker produced 24 points, ten assists, and nine rebounds. He averages 26.5 points, 12 rebounds, and 12 assists through his first two appearances in the 2020-21 NBA Regular Season.

The Nuggets will move with a home affair opposite the Houston Rockets Monday. In a quick turnaround, on Tuesday they will go on the road with a chance to match their opening game loss to the Sacramento Kings.
