Two NBA Regular Season games scheduled to take place Wednesday were postponed as the Washington Wizards and Boston Celtics did not have the required eight available players to face the Utah Jazz at the Capital One Arena and the Orlando Magic at the TD Garden, respectively.

German Moe Wagner and teammate Rui Hachimura are the Wizards players sidelined due to health and safety protocols, as announced by the team prior to the official decision to push back the matchup versus the Jazz. Tuesday’s practice was canceled.

The Celtics are coming off yet another game not held due to not having the required eight players available as their meeting versus the Chicago Bulls at the United Center did not take place as originally scheduled Tuesday.

In response to the number of games postponed rising and more players testing positive for coronavirus, the NBA and NBPA announced additional measures to supplement the protocols currently in place.
