The next three games of the Memphis Grizzlies were postponed due to the team being unable to suit up the required eight players due to health and safety protocols, the NBA announced Thursday.

Per the press release: “The Memphis Grizzlies’ next three games – Friday, Jan. 22 at Portland, and Sunday, Jan. 24 and Monday, Jan. 25 vs. Sacramento – have been postponed in accordance with the NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols.

The games are being postponed due to unavailable players for the Grizzlies and contact tracing for other players on their roster, and in order to ensure the health and safety of players on both teams.”

Including these three games, the overall amount of 2020-21 Regular Season matches rescheduled due to the coronavirus goes up to 20.

The next scheduled game for the Grizzlies is planned to take place on January 27 at home versus the Chicago Bulls.
