After securing a deal for Nikola Vucevic with the Orlando Magic, the Chicago Bulls acquired Moe Wagner and then sent him forward to the Boston Celtics while getting Daniel Theis in return, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
In the initial trade, the Washington Wizards also sent Troy Brown with Wagner while, in return, they get Daniel Gafford and Chandler Hutchinson from the Bulls.
Wagner, 23, has in his third NBA season been averaging 7.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 15 minutes. The Bulls have also been after Lonzo Ball and have been listening to offers for Lauri Markkanen but none of that came to fruition.
