Gabriel Deck departed from Madrid on Wednesday and will land in Oklahoma in the next hours, as reported by Marcelo G. Nogueira.
Deck, 26, upon his arrival will go through a seven-day quarantine and daily coronavirus tests. If he returns negative results, he will then be cleared to officially join the Thunder for the remainder of the 2020-21 NBA Regular Season.
His NBA debut will likely be pushed back until the home game versus the New Orleans Pelicans scheduled to take place next Thursday. He will be sidelined for the next four games, according to the timetable forced by the necessary restrictions.
The Argentine forward recently inked a contract with the Thunder joining a squad featuring several European upstarts the likes of Theo Maledon and Aleksej Pokusevski, and Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk as well.
