The New York Knicks outlasted the Celtics to clinch 4th seed in the Eastern Conference and homecourt advantage against the Hawks

With just a day left in the NBA regular season, playoff scenarios are still wide open and Sunday action is set to be decisive.

The New York Knicks outlasted Boston Celtics with a 96-92 victory to clinch the fourth spot in the Eastern Conference and return to the playoffs with a homecourt advantage.

RJ Barrett and Julius Randle led the team with 22 and 20 points respectively, as the Knicks will face the Hawks in the first round of the upcoming playoffs.

The Indiana Pacers prevailed over the Toronto Raptors with a 125-113 win to finish 9th in the Eastern Conference and will host the Charlotte Hornets for their play-in match-up on Tuesday, as the latter lost to Wizards.

Domantas Sabonis posted 25 points and 16 rebounds for the Pacers in this win, while Oshae Brissett had 31 points and 10 rebounds. Malachi Flynn led all Raptors with 27 points and Khem Birch added 18 points, 14 rebounds.

The Washington Wizards finished their run with a 115-110 win over the Charlotte Hornets to seal the eighth seed and will face the Boston Celtics on Tuesday for the play-in. Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook led the Wizards to the win with 25 and 23 points respectively, while on the other end of the court,  Terry Rozier had 22 points for the Hornets.

Dario Saric dropped 13 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists as the Phoenix Suns beat the San Antonio Spurs 123-121 to finish with a total 51-21 record, as the second-best team in the league.
