Paul George stepped up big time in the absence of Kawhi Leonard with 37 points plus 16 rebounds and five assists as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Utah Jazz 119 – 111 to take a 3-2 lead in the series. They were trailing 0-2 after the first two matches in Salt Lake City.

The Clippers needed George’s top game in the playoffs so far plus every bit of help from Marcus Morris (25 points) and Reggie Jackson (22 points) to overcome the Jazz and mostly Bojan Bogdanovic.

Bogdanovic hit 9 – 17 triples and finished with 32 points but the rest of the Jazz were off from the 3-point line, combining for 11-37. Donovan Mitchell had 4-14 triples en route to 21 points.

Rudy Gobert added 17 points and 11 rebounds for Utah.
