Barcelona announced that the club signed Lithuanian guard Rokas Jokubaitis from Zalgiris Kaunas. The 2021 EuroLeague Rising Star runner-up penned a four-year deal with the Catalan powerhouse.
Jokubaitis has entered the 2021 NBA Draft being projected as a potential second-round pick. It’s more than likely that if he’s selected he will be a draft-and-stash option and will spend at least the upcoming season with Barca.
In 2020-21, Jokubaitis averaged 7.0 points and 2.5 assists in 20:55 minutes over 31 EuroLeague games with Zalgiris. From 2018 to 2020 he played under Sarunas Jasikevicius with whom he’s now reunited.
