The Bulls and Marko Simonovic played their first game in the 2021 Summer League.

Montenegrin center Marko Simonovic made his NBA Summer League debut with the Chicago Bulls and put on some solid numbers.

Simonovic had 13 points, five rebounds and one steal plus three turnovers in 15 minutes in the Bulls‘ 77 – 94 to the New Orleans Pelicans in their Summer League opener. He shot 4-6 2-pointers, 0-1 3-pointers while draining 5-6 free throws.

Anzejs Pasenics posted nine points, three rebounds and three assists for the Pelicans.

Another European player who debuted in the Summer League was Lithuanian guard Rokas Jokubaitis. He came off the bench scored three points in nine minutes in a 94 – 86 win for the New York Knicks over the Indiana Pacers.
